"This is an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Zermatt and a mere 4 minute walk from the train station. Staff were very nice, rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. They have an attached restaurant and bar that were great. Both have great atmosphere with a cozy fireplace in the lobby bar. Great saunas and steam rooms on the lowest level. Ski storage room as well and a nice gym. Perfect place to stay on all fronts. "

You can open the window by an interesting mechanism that I had to confirm with the staff), and the bathrooms were very nice and spacious for a European ski lodge. Free breakfast was great. One decisive feature that made me choose this hotel was its partially outdoor heated pool. Hot tub après ski is one of my big likes, and their pool, although not heated to jacuzzi temperatures, is still plenty warm...

"This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop! While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. The rooms do not have air con and the only thing we could do was open the window whichthen meant our room would settle at 31 deg C. As it was cooler on the night we left the window open but we got a lot of noise from the train station. All in all yes we would stay there again as the staff were great and hotel spotless."
